Nothing New Here: Upcycled Textile Workshop

  • Cincinnati Recycling & Reuse Hub 911 Evans Street Cincinnati, OH, 45204 United States (map)

Join us for a hands-on evening of creativity and sustainability! In this interactive workshop, participants will bring an old button-up shirt or pair of jeans and learn how to transform them into something fresh and functional. Whether it is giving a shirt a stylish new twist or an old pair of jeans a refresh, we’ll show you how to breathe new life into clothing you already own.

The evening also includes a short presentation on how to challenge the fast fashion cycle by rethinking and reusing what’s already in your closet, focusing on upcoming summer trends you can participate with your old favorites. You'll leave inspired and equipped with upcycling techniques that are easy to replicate at home.

No prior sewing or crafting experience needed—just bring your garment and an open mind!

Let’s get creative, reduce waste, and rethink fashion—together.

Suggested donation is $10 and payable directly at the Hub at the time of the workshop.
