What We Take To Recycle

All items recycled at the Hub must be CLEAN, DRY, and FREE OF PRODUCT.

Q. But it’s trash?? Why does it need to be clean?

A. We hand sort and store recycling drop offs in our facility for several months at a time, so we need materials to be clean, dry, and free of product (loose dirt, debris, and spiderwebs) to ensure we are not feeding any pests or attracting any rodents.

Review our Mini-Hub Customer Training video to prepare your visit as it has a curbside refresher and a tutorial on what we accept at the Hub for recycling.

The following are general categories of materials we accept for recycling.
