What We Take Through ZeroLandfill Cincinnati

ZeroLandfill Cincinnati is a volunteer based community-wide program designed to divert waste from the local landfills and promote re-purposing of unused materials. The program started in 2008 diverted over 286,000 pounds from the landfills before the Hub opened in 2021.

As part of a continued community recycling initiative, ZeroLandfill Cincinnati invites local artists, educators, students, and recyclers to Cincinnati Recycling & Reuse Hub to take discontinued design samples/materials that can be used for various projects. While the items are offered at no cost, donations to the Hub help support this partnership.

Architecture and interior design firms, along with manufacturer’s reps, join forces to donate discontinued materials and samples from their libraries.
